2007
Sharon Matthews was named president and CEO of eLynx in February 2007. She is responsible to the board for all day-to-day operations and to further strengthening eLynx’s market leadership position providing secure electronic document communications services for the financial services industry. Matthews is also a member of the board of directors.
Matthews came to eLynx with more than 20 years of executive experience running profitable large technology and software companies. She has held senior executive roles at Solectron Corporation, UCMS Inc., Unisys and Wang Laboratories. From 2002 through 2006, she first re-engineered the multiple sales organizations into a single cohesive whole and then applied those principles to successfully run a profitable $1.7 billion business unit based on large corporate accounts in the Computer Sector at Solectron, an electronic manufacturing services business.
In the late 1990s, she was the CEO of UCMS, a global customer relationship management outsourcing business with operations in the U.S. and Australia. At Unisys, Matthews was the partner responsible for running the Australian Postal Authority business during a five year period while growing annual revenues from $8.2 million to more than $42 million. Prior to Unisys, Matthews spent 10 years at Wang Laboratories (1985-1995) working in various marketing and product planning and management roles based both in Australia and at the world headquarters in the United States.
Matthews’ management style is about leadership and professionalism. The customer always comes first and she makes commitments and meets them at all times. Throughout her organizations, she demands and expects teamwork and respect for the individual. She is also a driver of employee and organizational transformation initiatives to ensure a productive workforce and the delivery of a superior service experience.
In addition to her business leadership, Matthews is active in philanthropic activities. She is a member of the advisory board of Canyon Snow Consulting. She is also a member on the executive board of the non-profit City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley. Her primary focuses in these national organizations are on raising funds and promoting the programs in the area of inner city schools and other community projects.
Matthews earned a bachelor of science degree in economics and politics from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at Columbia University in New York. She is an Australian citizen residing in northern California with permanent U.S. Residence.
2007
Mike Buckman, CFO, joined eLynx in July, 2007. Mr. Buckman is responsible for managing the Finance and Human Resources functions of the company. Mr. Buckman will focus on building a best of class Finance and Human Resources team to serve the needs of internal and external customers. Mr. Buckman will also work with the rest of the management team in the development and implementation of strategic plans to support the continued growth and leadership position of eLynx in delivering innovative eBusiness services and print management solutions to the broader financial services industry and to a broader spectrum of industries.
Before joining eLynx, Mr. Buckman spent over 13 years in the financial services technology industry with Fiserv in various financial roles including business unit and division controllerships and as a Group CFO. Mr. Buckman has over 20 plus years of Finance experience with Fiserv, Mellon Bank Corporation and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Buckman has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Grove City College. Mr. Buckman also earned his CPA in the State of Pennsylvania.
2005.
Mr. Nilsson’s responsibilities include expanding the company’s service offerings and client roster. He also manages corporate-wide strategies as they relate to marketing, product management, business and market development, strategic partnerships, business acquisitions, brand management, and public relations. Nilsson is currently developing new services for existing clients as well as new markets, with a current focus on the insurance industry.
Nilsson came to eLynx with more than 17 years of experience with technology-based businesses. He has held numerous executive roles in business development, corporate development, sales and marketing, merger and acquisitions and program management for global organizations and start-up companies in the financial services, banking, insurance, and telecommunications arenas.
Nilsson earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and a MBA from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. He also has an associate degree in electrical engineering from Vasa Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
Throughout Nilsson’s accomplished career, three things have remained invariable: his passion of technology and customer focus, and his determination to help companies streamline processes and improve efficiencies by adopting the most advanced electronic workflow solutions available in the marketplace.
Nilsson, who is bilingual, has lived and worked in both the U.S. and Europe. He is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development (ACORD), the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM), the Association for Financial Technology (AFT) and Xplor International.
2003.
Michael Pelfrey, vice president of sales, is charged with directing all sales and account management activities throughout the nation. He directs a team of regional sales managers in adopting the eLynx suite of products and services within the financial services industry, as well as directing new business development efforts in emerging markets such as the insurance industry. In addition, he contributes to clients’ marketing strategies and executions by mapping technology roadmaps to identify and implement new solution applications to meet clients’ specific needs.
As vice president of sales, Pelfrey has formally installed a sales and service culture at eLynx, grown the sales force, and developed a team committed to exceeding service expectations by addressing client and prospect needs with integrity and urgency. Pelfrey also developed the IDEAworks conference, an anticipated event that brings together the majority of the nation’s top 20 lenders to foster idea sharing and problem solving.
Pelfrey joined eLynx in 2003 as regional sales manager for the Western division, where he led the company’s West Coast sales efforts. He has grown revenue by 20 percent, added five top 20 lenders in 18 months, and drove the installment for eLynxQC, TOTALePAPER and eDisclosures.
Pelfrey is a graduate of the University of California in Santa Cruz.
2006.
Mr. Matuszak oversees the company’s software development team to deliver product initiatives and enhancements that promote new business and client satisfaction.
His main responsibilities entail developing and driving the company’s technology and product roadmap. Specifically, Mr. Matuszak ensures successful design, development, testing, and implementation of software and services while driving all device level processes and materials.
Mr. Matuszak comes to eLynx with more than 15 years of IT experience, during which time he held senior positions for international and Fortune 1000 companies such as Compaq and Tenneco. Most recently, Matuszak spent the past four years managing eBusiness applications development for xpedx, North America’s largest marketer and distributor of printing papers, graphics, packaging and facilities supplies and equipment. Prior to that, Matuszak spent two years as director of web development at Arch Wireless.
Matuszak earned a bachelor of business administration degree in management information systems from the University of Houston.
Mr. Matuszak also served as Programming Manager at Landata Systems, where he managed the development of a commercial software package that automates the real estate closing process. The application received the TitleTech Discovery Award in 1996, and as of 2006 is still widely used by hundreds of title insurance agencies across the country.
2003.
Steve Harvath is responsible for technical operation and security aspects of the eLynx service data centers. He provides technical leadership for the service data center architecture, design and integration, as well as for the internal and customer support network. He oversees data center operations, corporate infrastructure operations and has primary responsibility for all security aspects of the data centers and networks.
In addition, Mr. Harvath is responsible for eLynx customer operations and is tasked with providing tactical oversight and strategic direction for customer service including technical support call center operation and Network Operations Center which are staffed 24x7x365. Mr. Harvath serves as the catalyst behind continued efforts to extend operational readiness to support new and innovative product solutions and services. This includes providing ready customer access to eLynx employees during system operation.
Steve Harvath joined eLynx in 2003 as VP of SwiftSend Operations. Originally part of SwiftView, Inc., he was instrumental in developing the service bureau operations, software development and customer support teams necessary to support the rapidly expanding customer base for the SwiftSend products. Harvath has over 30 years of technical, product and business management experience in high technology companies. An industry veteran with patents in the United States and Europe, he was previously chief technical officer of Lucent Technologies' Open Network Platforms division and CTO at Atlas Telecom.
Harvath has extensive experience with software development and system integration in high-availability environments such as telecom and enhanced messaging services.
Steve Harvath holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Michigan State University, where he graduated with honors.
2006.
Mr. Crisenbery oversees the design and delivery of implementations for new customers with eLynx services.
His main responsibilities involve all aspects of the servicing the customer during presales, deployment, and post sales activities to include successful implementation and training services. He also oversees eLynx professional services and training that are delivered to ensure the successful customer experience.
Andy Crisenbery came to eLynx with 22 years of management and technology-related experience that comprises all phases of software engineering with a focus on the financial market. He has worked extensively with large federal government and Fortune 500 financial companies to define strategies for business supporting the definition and evaluation of high-value document management projects. His range of responsibilities within the industry has afforded him with a wide variety of experiences resulting in his ability to fully understand and implement complex solutions in a variety of environments. He regularly contributes to the integration of software engineering best practices that drive high quality and effective environments for clients.
