One of the exciting aspects of the combined eLynx company is the compatibility between the SwiftView Tools and the eLynx Services. Following are some examples of how customers can use both Tools and Services in solutions that benefit the entire enterprise.

• A long-time SwiftView Tools customer created an internal document center that enabled them to view and print internal documents, regardless of the document source. This means the IT group supports one printing and viewing utility for all users. And since the SwiftView Viewer can print to virtually any printer, supporting the multitude of printers throughout the enterprise is greatly simplified. Over the past few years, this customer’s mortgage and consumer loan divisions started using eLynx’s secure electronic delivery and eLoanFolder services to gather loan documentation and to deliver documents. Since all of the users and IT staff were already familiar with the SwiftView Viewer, the transition was easy. Now virtually every electronic document touches at least one eLynx product during the document life cycle.



• A large title company uses the PDF file format for their internal document processing. However, almost all of the loan packages they process are delivered to them via eLynx as PCL files. Previously converting these files to PDF was a manual process: They opened the PCL file and printed it to a PDF file before it could be used in their processing workflow. They are now using SwiftConvert and its Directory Monitor utility to automate conversion the files from PCL to PDF behind the scenes. This saves them several minutes on every document they process, which adds up to a huge savings over the course of a year.



• This national savings and loan has branches across the US and offers a range of loan products, including home mortgages and consumer loans. They use SwiftView tools (SwiftStamp) to post sensitive documents on their secure internal network where they can be retrieved by loan officers in branch offices. Recently they began using eLynx’s eDisclosures and ePaper service as a centralized fulfillment center. Loan documents that can be delivered electronically are sent to recipients using the eDisclosures service. Documents that cannot be delivered electronically are automatically printed and mailed from eLynx’s national print center in Cincinnati, Ohio.



• A mortgage company uses a variety of eLynx services along with the SwiftView Viewer and SwiftConvert in its loan processing and archiving workflow. Loan documents and documentation are gathered in eLynx eLoanFolders (electronic loan folders). Disclosures are faxed directly from the eLoanFolders using eLynx’s simpliFAX outbound fax service. The loan documents are reviewed internally using the SwiftView Viewer. Once the loan closes, the mortgage company uses SwiftConvert to convert all of the loan documents to TIFF for uploading into their imaging system for archiving.



• A multi-faceted financial services company purchased an enterprise SwiftView Viewer license and standardized all internal document viewing and printing around SwiftView. When their mortgage division was looking at ways to eliminate the delay and cost of printing and mailing disclosures and closing documents, they looked to eLynx for a solution. Since the company had already deployed the SwiftView viewer enterprise wide, the transition to electronic delivery was quick and easy.
