CINCINNATI, Jan14, 2004 – eLynx Ltd., a leading provider of electronic document delivery solutions for mortgage lenders and the first Web-based service to offer electronic signature capabilities directly to homebuyers, announced the promotion of Dan Gersten from senior vice president (SVP) of Development and Operations to chief technology officer (CTO).
As CTO, Gersten is now responsible for overseeing all technology initiatives for the company. In addition to leading product development and operations, he will steer the design and development efforts of eLynx’ new technologies.
In his first position at eLynx – SVP of Development and Operations – Gersten was responsible for the architecture and implementation of all eLynx services.
Prior to joining eLynx, Gersten was senior technical consultant of Engineering Services and system architect at Plano, Texas-based SDRC, (now part of EDS). SDRC is a leading supplier of product data management technology and mechanical computer aided engineering. Additionally, he has held positions as technical manager of Genigraphics and senior developer of Genigraphics in the electronic systems division at General Electric.

Gersten received his bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Troy, N.Y.-based Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He also completed graduate work at Syracuse University in computer science and at Cincinnati -based Xavier University in Business Administration
